We left the crowds for a short time while we popped into some of these churches and religious buildings of Archidona. This is the Convent of Jesus Maria founded by the nuns known as the Minimas. It was filled with amazing artwork, gilded ceramics, intricately carved statues and decorative features from floor to ceiling.
